A suspect has been arrested in the shooting death of an 18-year-old earlier this week near Manual High School.
Mannie Lee Legrand, 20, who was in custody in Denver on a probation violation, is now a suspect in the shooting death of De'Quan Walker-Smith, said John White, a Denver Police Department spokesman.
On Monday afternoon, Walker-Smith was fatally shot on the corner of East 29th Avenue and Franklin St. near Manual High School.
Walker-Smith was shot once in front of Fuller Park, which is immediately north of the school.
Legrand, who was taken into custody sometime this week after the
