A suspect has been arrested in the shooting death of an 18-year-old earlier this week near Manual High School.
Mannie Lee Legrand, 20, who was in custody in Denver on a probation violation, is now a suspect in the shooting death of De'Quan Walker-Smith, said John White, a Denver Police Department spokesman.
Walker-Smith was shot once in front of Fuller Park, which is immediately north of the school.
Legrand, who was taken into custody sometime this week after the shooting, is now being investigated for suspicion of first-degree murder, White said.
Police did not release a photograph of Legrand.
