The Colorado Republican Party is hosting its election-night party at the football stadium where Democrat Barack Obama four years ago was nominated for president. The party will be held on the club level at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

"It's our way to close the loop on the Obama administration," said state GOP chairman Ryan Call. "It's going to be glorious. It's going to be fabulous."

The Colorado GOP traditionally has selected a hotel in the Tech Center or farther south. Democrats are holding their party at the Sheraton on the 16th Street Mall at Court Street. The Denver Post
