Font ResizeBOULDER, Colo.—Officials at the University of Colorado are divided over a proposed state measure that would require universities to anonymously disclose salaries.
The measure would also require them to disclose teaching loads, travel expenses and grant money.
Regent Sue Sharkey says the board should support the proposal and tell taxpayers and students the cost of education. CU system spokesman Ken McConnellogue said university officials are worried about the cost of compliance.
According to the Boulder Daily Camera ( http://bit.ly/zEsmzc), the bill would apply to CU, Colorado State University, Colorado School of Mines and the University of Northern Colorado.
