Font ResizeA man is now in custody after Denver police have surrounded a house near near West 5th Avenue and Bryant Street.
Negotiators and SWAT teams were on the scene when the 30-year-old man was taken into custody after 10:30 p.m.
Police said earlier on Twitter that the man barricaded in the house may be a robbery suspect. There are no hostages. The situation began about 8 p.m. Thursday
Because of the situation, the eastbound 6th Avenue off ramp to Federal Boulevarrd had been closed.
