Another round of snow is on the way.
This time the National Weather Service has issued a blizzard watch from Saturday night into Sunday afternoon for parts of Elbert, Douglas, Arapahoe and Adams Counties, including Castle Rock, Fondis, Larkspur, Byers, Deer Trail and Limon.
The watch advises those areas can expect 6 inches of snow late Saturday into Sunday with wind gusts up to 40 mph possible.
Southeast of the metro area, a winter storm warning will also be in effect starting late Saturday night.
Those areas — including Bailey, Central City, Evergreen and Georgetown — can expect more snow but less wind. Up to 8 inches of snow are expected Saturday night into Sunday in that area.
Denver currently shows a 70 percent chance of snow during that storm, with accumulations of 1 to 3 inches possible Saturday, with an additional 1 to 2 inches possible later Sunday.
After the storm clears, Denver will have only a day of clear skies with above freezing temperatures before the next chance of snow on Tuesday.
